"Good Stuff"  The Detroit News September 1, 2005

"Sansonetti Gourmet Food Co. in Holly has been selling
authentic Italian sauces and appetizers such as eggplant
caponata, ratatouille and antipasto for years - using recipes
handed down from Joe Sansonetti's mother and grandparents.
Now comes a delicious mustard flavored with fennel, garlic and
spices. Try some on your grilled hot dog, brat or Italian sausage
this weekend for a real treat."

"Message in a Bottle"  The Flint Journal May 22, 2007

"Sansonetti is also the exception in that he prepares and
bottles his recipes. Most small food entrepreneurs, lacking
experience in food processing, contract the work.
....'Quality is higher with small batches.  And we would have
less control over the texture and mouthfeel of each product
if we used a contract company.   We want to have a certain
chunkiness. That's what makes them unique.' "

"Cool condiments"  The Oakland Press  August 22, 2005

"Kathy and Joe Sansonetti, a Holly couple, has just introduced
three homemade condiments to their Sansonetti  Gourmet Food
Co. line - and they have some real zing.
There's Fennel Mustard*, a spicy tribute to the Abruzzo region of
Italy; the Michigan Maple Barbecue Sauce, which  blends smoke,
sweetness and spice; and Grilled Salsa, packed with peppers,
tomatoes and cilantro."

Douglas J.Levy

*note: In 2007 we changed the name of
Fennel Mustard to
Spicy Curry Mustard....it's the same recipe, we found
that even though we use fennel, the curry flavor
overpowered the fennel....thus the name change!
